About

Massimiliano Viccardi is a self-taught Italian artist residing in London. His sculptural talent is the result of eleven years of artistic experimentation with three primary media: the pliability of the lead metal and the dynamic colours of semi-precious stones and beads.

He has philosophically transformed them into a new style of art, which we would like to call “Abstract Actualism.” Abstract Actualism emphasises the actualisation of unconscious spirituality.

This unconscious spirituality is the de-sexualised Eros, the undifferentiated Id, or the transcendental culture. It is about freedom discursively actualised by the dynamic synergy of forms, colours, and materials.

This synergistic dynamism is intensely experienced when his works are displayed together as discourse of unconscious emotional forces behind human spirituality and freedom.
